On the afternoon of April 26, the review meeting for the No. 1 revision of the national standard "Restriction of Excessive Packaging Requirements for Food and Cosmetics" was held. At the meeting, it was proposed that the production organization should take measures to control all packaging except those directly in contact with the contents. The cost does not exceed 20% of the selling price of the product.

The bottle body of the refill is made of aluminum, which can be recycled and reused and is lighter in weight. Another example is the new brand Zhiben, which is dubbed "environmental protection company" by the industry: environmentally friendly express boxes that can be reused, replaceable packaging design, empty bottle recycling...

Today, a large number of young Chinese consumers have become more and more aware of environmental protection. Choosing cosmetics made of environmentally friendly materials is not only a manifestation of environmental protection, but also a manifestation of refusing to pay for overly packaged products.

Last year, P&G officially announced a partnership with paper bottle company Paboco to launch the first paper bottle packaging for its Lenor brand, which will be piloted in Western Europe in 2022. It is reported that P&G Global Fabric and Home Care has joined the Paboco paper bottle community and began to produce product bottles made entirely of biomaterials to reduce plastic use and carbon footprint, and contribute to the creation of sustainable packaging solutions.

Kiehl's also uses degradable raw materials and simple and environmentally friendly packaging as much as possible, and many products do not have paper boxes. At the same time, consumers are encouraged to "recreate" empty cosmetic bottles and turn them into creative decorations, vases or storage at home.
